SIU (Sauce It Up) is a fun-filled club where the members practice dance moves, routines and learn the latest dance trends. Members learn rhythm and skills in preparation to perform at events and dance in music videos. Apart from having unique activities, this club displays honor for entertainment in The Bahamas. SIU collaborates with established Bahamian dancers, music artists and entertainers to give our members the ultimate saucy experience. Who can join? Both males and females enrolled at The University of The Bahamas who would like to learn how to dance or anyone who would like to improve their dance skills and gain opportunities to showcase their talent.
This club was founded by Damari Williams, aka Mr. Saucy, in the Fall 2015 at the UB-North Campus of the University of The Bahamas. The club started operating at the Oakes Field campus in New Providence in Spring 2017. The mission of this club is to allow students to bring out their potential and give them a better appreciation for performing arts and culture, through dance practice, activities and community service. We strive to help build the confidence and courage in students to perform in front of audiences.
